I dropped in to the MSoft show window (not really a store) last Tuesday and Sam showed me what I took to be a tablet with a detachable keyboard. just under 2lbs FWIW.
Since my Acer netbook has died, I feel I ought to master a new lightweight device well before I go on hols.

The finger pointing game was all just part of blaming the other guys, while buying time to make sure that it was really a software problem!
